MV ilios

 

A 45 year old 13.5 mtr (22 ton) Dutch steel motor boat in need of full restoration.

Delighted and honored to of been part of the ilios crew over the last few months while being totally refurbished.  Not the usual work but something challenging and different. Work carried out included new solid teak tapered mast with central channel for cabling. Repaired and polished floor panels, door, handrails, custom mahogany wine bottle holder, and the most challenging and time consuming was the solid teak deck corner trim. Including compound curve rebates, all hand made, machined and custom fitted to the unique curves of the boat.

Basically every bit of wood has had some loving attention. Making all the difference and bringing the finishing touches and making the beautiful lines of the boat stand out.​​​
