Console Table

'Elegant lines and full of character’

Burr oak veneered Console hall table.

Proportions inspired from our clients existing antique Sheraton veneered hall table once owned by Eamon de Valera’s doctor.

The Sheraton influenced architectural elements of the table were used to keep the look clean elegant and timeless.

European Oak cluster veneer was chosen to decorate this table. Splitting the table down the centre, left and right sides are mirrored or bookmatched with veneer grain detail repeating on the top, rim, frame, drawer and legs, all lending to subtle design elements which show that skill and time were required to achieve such results.

The crescent shaped top is supported by four solid oak square tapered legs wrapped in sequence of veneer, standing on walnut feet.

The center frame section has a concealed drawer to hold our clients car keys and keep all of life’s little accessories out of sight.

Finished with a honey toned stain to highlight the delectable grain detail, with a 10% matt lacquer adding suitable protection and lustre to engage an element of tactility on the piece.
